Running... How does it work now?
Ok... I'm suckered back into GW by a friend in RL. I used to get runs down to Drok's Forge... But uh... I don't see people offering that anymore?
What happened? What's the farthest I can get ran in Prophecies? What's the best running option to take for a lowbie to get gear and progress, this can be in Proph, NF, or Factions. What other ways are there to get the level 20 gear? Thanks ahead of time! |

With the introduction of Heroes, being run in such old areas isn't so needed anymore. If you want gear, get to LA and then use the boat to goto factions or nightfall. From where you appear highest AR gear is easily accessable.

If you make a character in NF, you can get max. armor gear as soon as you reach Kamadan, and that's level 2. Just find someone to take you to the Consulate Docks. You'll see people ferrying to the docks all the time.

If you go on the American districts and spam/wait a bit, I'm sure you'll find a Dervish or two who run to Droks. I still see them and used them myself not long ago.

There is plenty Droks runners, they have to fight over customers now
You can get anything from "Running Droks for tips" up to 2k. It's not an "elite run" anymore |

it is run by DERVS now, lmao. and yeah, the profit of doing the runs is so low nowadays that it is hard to find someone willing to waste the time trying ;-)

Perma Sins can run through pretty much anywhere with the right build and experience with the area.
But if you want max armour just get to EotN as soon as possible and buy some. |

Just get to level 10 and visit the Boreal Station. A cheap level 20 armor can be crafted there.

In addition to the easily accessible max armor available elsewhere, it has also gotten very easy to run due to new skills/classes. As such, the price per run has gone down a lot and nobody really cares anymore to do it since they can get money faster other ways.

Wow :| Thanks again for the answers everyone. Sucks to hear running has become... so... cheap. D: I remember when Drok runs and stuff like that were around 20k... =| Oh well.

I got a droks run on my new account for 1.5k, then realised how pointless it was because I just took a boat to Cantha instead and farmed on my main account for the free collectors canthan armor.
You dont even need to pay for decent armor, just get max collectors for free and then save up for an elite skin. |

Runners are fairly scarce nowadays. I needed a desert tour the other day and couldn't find anyone, so I resorted to advertising in LA to find one.
Actually found one that way, too. XD |

I actually ran to Droks from LA on my perma with no experience whatsoever and without dying once. It's an easy run now, as has been stated, but if you need a certain armor from Droks or something to this effect, there are still people around doing it for cheap.
