Greens dropping LESS? - Page 2 - Guild Wars Forums

It's really all on luck with the green droppings. The double chance of drop rate increases your chances by just a small margin. I've tried to farm for a green sword in CoF many times, and still didn't get any from the end dungeon chests. When I was preparing for another go, an alliance member told me he got the sword earlier that day. First try.

Made me quite jealous of him, but he was nice enough to give it to me for free. Now I have Murakai's Blade.

So either way, whether we are in a double green drop rate, or not it all means the same thing. You won't receive any green drops unless lady luck is by your side.

I don't normally farm for greens on purpose. If they drop good, if not.... meh. But this weekend I decided to have my sin farm greens for all of his heroes. I'm through half of them already and I've really only spent a total of maybe 6 hours farming for them all weekend. So, ya, it's gotta be just luck I guess. I farmed Grabthar for his hammer and got it on my 8th try. At 2 minutes per run that's not bad at all. Yes I know it's a crappy hammer, but "By Grabthar's Hammer, by the sons of Worvan, you shall be avenged." That's hilarious! Unless of course you haven't seen Galaxy Quest yet.

Anyways, usually within 10 or so tries I got the green I was farming this weekend. Is that good? I dunno. Do I care if it's good? nah. Just doing it for fun anyways. Plus I'm only really going for greens that are fast farms anyways. 5 minute run max, if it's longer I can do without it.

I play PvE alot, I cap skills alot.
I've only ever had something like, 5-10 greens.
1x2 is 2.
Not 50.
small number x small number = pretty small number.
