Coming back to GW
Hi, I'm thinking about coming back to GW but I do have a few questions about how things are at the moment. Mainly, what is the most recent expansion and how populated is the game in general?
I've not played since Factions (I stopped playing almost as soon as Nightfall came out). How do the newer packs play compared to it? Do they chuck you in the deep end like they did in Factions or is it more gradual like Prophecies? Thanks for reading and hope to see you in the game Last edited by Calamari; Jul 08, 2009 at 03:44 PM // 15:44.. |

Alrighty, newest is Eye of the North, its not really a new campaign but its an expansion. GW hit 4 million a couple months ago...
Newer packs play well, they are more in the middle between Factions and Prophs. Fun game, see you there. Last edited by psykick5; Jul 08, 2009 at 04:42 PM // 16:42.. Reason: I felt like it |

Its a whole new game. Its excellent and you should get back into it. Though, really your starting afresh. Gw actually hit 6million last month.
NF plays between fac and prof speed, somewhat boring to start in, fun to play in as a lvl 20. eotn is an expansion, not a campaign per-se, its the most fun available to a lvl 20. |

Thanks for all the answers
I'm probably going to pick up Nightfall tomorrow but I was wondering about Eye of the North. I was looking on Play.com and it said that I need all the previous expansions to play it, is this true? |

No, you just need one campaign to play EotN as it is not stand-alone. It is a true expansion.
