Do Customized weapons help your heroes - Guild Wars Forums

I never really thought about this till tonight. Do heroes gain the bonus damage from the +20% customization? Can they even use customized weapons? Just closed off guild wars and need to sleep so I can't check at the moment, was wondering if anyone could just quickly help me out.

yes they benafit from the +20 as long as they belong to the char that cutomed the wep

Heroes can certainly use weapons that have been customized for their owner. Most of the heroes for my characters are equipped with weapons from the BMP, which come pre-customized.

I've never tested to see if they're getting the 20% bonus damage. I would assume they do, however, since it isn't any different in principle than other damage-boosting modifiers such as 15^50, which certainly works the same for heroes as for players.

Although I'd like to point out, it is customized to that character. So... that really nice sword/axe you want to give Jora, be sure you really want to give it to her, because it is going to be customized to your Ele.
