Maybe if you join a really really good guild who liked you and won't blacklist you for failing in one group.

awe, c'mon, seriously.... doing PuG UWsc isn't that bad... obviously, if you are in a good guild, you can get 3 chest runs in 40-45 minutes, but, seriously... yesterday, with the same pug, I did 3 chest runs in under 1 hour.... not rly bad, for a PuG... of course, PuG's aren't as good, and yes, round 60% of your pug groups will fail/will need BU/will have 1 area down... But that's not a reason to just stop doing it, IMO...
personally, i only blacklist those who are REALLY bad, where there's no recuperation possible... and I don't do it on my ignore list, or it would be full (actually, it is full(also has people who aren't uwscer's))... do it in a sheet (or 2) of paper nowadays, uwsc guilds(or at least the good ones) will only accept 18+ members... pisses me off can't do anything about it though: i mean, this is a game... well, if you DO find a uwsc guild, good luck^^ |

If you blacklisted everyone who ever made a mistake you would have no one left to play with.
People should stop taking this so seriously. |

I've been blacklisted for bullying by some big pr0 UWSC guild, but I haven't noticed any decrease in groups accepting me. It's mostly empty words.

I like to LOL when those most vocal about blacklists and ZOMG PROS ONLY NO FAILERS groups are the first to die or fail a run.
Don't worry about threats of blacklists from one run. For the oldtimers there was a small group of really good UWSCers and screwing one of that crew over would typically mean not running with them anymore but it wasn't just one mistake that would warrant it. That's a threat used by the wannabe pros that weren't even noobs back then. If someone threatens with a blacklist laugh it off and join another group. Everyone makes mistakes. |

It's just an empty warning that people loom over you in an oppressive way so as that you become somewhat anxious and, sometimes, feel inferior. For someone to hold a blacklist is very arrogant and, usually, arrogance is something you'd expect from the most experienced and wise people. This makes it all the more humorous when the blacklisters themselves die.
It's ALWAYS lag's fault, though. I particularly enjoy when said individual dies and leaves immediately so he doesn't have to face the backlash. It goes to show how sensitive Mr. Tough Guy truly is... with his threats, big statements and blacklists. People should relax, get a grip and stop with trashy big-talk because we've all learned that in the end, it changes nothing. People will suck either way. |
