guestions about gvg
Hiya. I got little "problems" understanding talked english. If someone in rl is talking to me, I have no problem at all understanding what he the guy is talking. And for example, I understand like 70% of the talk in movies, but like nothing of songs. And when someone is talking to me with accent through microphone, I understand nothing what he is trying to say. So, if someone says something simple like "I got SS" I undertand, even if he has accent. I have never really played GvG, and the guestion is, is it impossible or nuisance for my team to play it with my ears? I think I really would like it, and it is the main reason I got GW. I guess it is complicated to answer, but please try, I wouldn't run through the game to see it is impossible to play gvg. I can of course get finnish gvg guild, but I guess it would be pretty hard.
Yep, that was the first guestion. If the answer to it is yes, here is another about the class. I would play the class that is most versatile in pvp. What would it be? By versatily I mean lots of different tactics, not SO much the different ways to do the same thing. |

Everything's versatile.
But would you really want to run a role with complicated tactics if you have trouble understanding said tactics? Communication is key in GvG, so you'll have to at least understand some basic calls (where to push, what to do, ...) Usually those are short commands, so i assume that'll be ok. It does tend to get complicated when you run for example, a dedicated split and you have to let everyone know what's going on in your parts of the map. My advice: go for it, but take an "easy role" (one of the midliners) early on. Your English will improve, as well as your player skill. |

GvG takes a lot of communication to be consistently successful at. there is a lot of information that needs to be thrown around by everyone on the team and a mix up in communication could cost your team a match. If you can understand basic tactics and can communicate basic tactics yourself, then you should be fine. You don't need to be an expert at English, just, Spike on 3, or their ranger is splitting off. Things like that are the most important things to be communicated so if you can handle that you should be all right.
You could find a guild who knows your original language but English is the most widely spoken language as far as I know. And in my opinion, ranger is the most versatile class. Good luck to you if you decide to get into GvG! |

Most versatile class? Probably Ranger, Elemenatalist, or Necromancer. |
