Do it in nightfall. Level up to 10 fast. Go to EotN to level up to 20 via dwarven boxing. Nightfall provides the attribute point quests the fastest, and you can breeze right through the other necessary quests to get to the other campaigns, or get a run. Also, probably the fastest way to get get "ascended" (the Hunted! quest).
Farm away. |

The attribute quests in Factions are about the same as in Nightfall, though they are maybe *slightly* harder and aren't directly in the main storyline.
Personally though, if you're looking to level fast and get your character set up for farming, I'd do it in Nightfall. You can get to level 10 very easily and will have the attribute quests done already. Then, once you're level 10, you can get to EotN and level much faster, either through doing a few quests and killing a bunch of stuff, or by doing boxing. You'll also get a nice compliment of level 20 heroes to help you out much sooner, which is something you won't be able to do as fast in Factions. If you don't have the option of going to EotN, Factions would probably be your best bet. Leveling seems faster (though I prefer NF) and the Attribute quests are easy enough to get out of the way pretty quickly. |

Personally, I always look (by re-rolling) at the various combos of face, hair, armor, etc., to see which one I like best, and go from there. Not joking either - for me, there is so little difference between starting in one campaign or the other, that how the character looks becomes the deciding factor.
Starting in Prophecies doesn't take as long as you may think. If you leave pre-searing as soon as you can and just do the primaries, it's not that long to L.A. Once in L.A., or Kamadan, or Keineng Center, you can go to any campaign or EotN, for spells, heroes, farming, etc. I would have a preference for Nightfall, and then Factions, over Prophecies. Btw, each campaign has it's own version of attribute quests and "ascension". Factions and Nightfall are easier to ascend in, but in any case, it comes after LA/KC/Kam anyway, so that needn't affect where you start. Last edited by Quaker; Jul 26, 2009 at 12:53 AM // 00:53.. |
