anyone know if arcane echo works when casting a signet

Arcane echo only works on spells. The elite version, Echo, will work on any skill.

Nope.

If you cast a Spell in the next 20 seconds, Arcane Echo is replaced with that Spell for 20 seconds. Arcane Echo ends prematurely if you use a non-Spell skill.

Just tested to be sure, and no, it does not work.

if it's not a spell then arcane echo won't copy it.

it only copies spells, the elite skill Echo will copy any skill within limit.

Just like the rest said, it only mimics spells (of any type) as long as it is a spell. But It's counterpart Echo (elite) can mimic anything you use, any skill from any class.
