Questions regarding Guild Wars Trilogy/NcSoft
I have Guild War Prophecies Platinum Edition(Proph+Eotn) which has 4 character slots
I was wondering if buying Guild War Trilogy and merging the key for that game to my current account/game add 8 character slots(4proph+2factions+2nightfall) which will give me a total of 12 character slots(including the plat edition slots) I was also wondering if it adds Xunlai Storage Panes(I already got 3+1promo) And lastly, When buying Guild War Trilogy from NcSoft Store, does it automatically merge your account that has been linked to NcSoft?, or do they send you the access/serial key to your email address? Thanks for taking your time reading the message -Edit: Apologies for posting here, should have posted in Q/A Section |

No, you will have 8 character slots. You will get additional storage, but I don't know how many. I believe you will have 4 + 1 promo in total.
Nevermind, see Darcy's reply. Last edited by MisterB; Aug 12, 2009 at 12:43 AM // 00:43.. |

you wont be able to merge them becuz you already have prophecies, your gunna need to buy nightfall and factions seperate if you want the extra slots.

I don't think that's true. The extra Prophecies included will just become redundant. The Trilogy unlocks all three campaigns, including any you have already. Factions and Nightfall are part of the Trilogy, and each additional campaign after the first adds 2 character slots to an account.

1. You will have a total of 8 character slots. If you want more you will need to purchase them from the in-game store.
2. You will have 4+1 storage panes. 3. The key is automatically added to your account. The Trilogy package would add the Game of the Year bonus items to your existing Prophecies (if you don't have that version) and give you access to Factions and Nightfall.

Best way to look at it is
You will keep your proficies chars you have they will take up the 4 slots leaving you with 4 spare to use on nightfall /factions. So by adding the key as its a single key it just opens up the other campaigns for you. If you wish you can have 2 accounts...keeping your proficies one you have and creating a new account. So you will have the origanal 4 that is soley proficies and a New one with 8 slots with access to 3 campaigns If going 2 then you create a new login and password for that account So be careful what you choose as no going back once its done .so decide if you really just want 1 account or 2 Last edited by Highlander Of Alba; Aug 12, 2009 at 12:55 AM // 00:55.. |

He's already posted here >.<
Darcy is correct. On top of that, your Guild Wars account and how you merge your campaigns and bonuses and even minipet codes are completely seperate to NCsoft accounts. In fact, you don't even require an NCsoft account in order to play Guild Wars. But i may be wrong, my memory is horrible and from what i can remember, i only needed to eventually create an NCsoft account to play City of Heroes. And i have no knowledge of the bonus storage pane... But you've already reveived the promo so: No, you shouldn't receive yet another free storage pane. Fate |
