Signet of Lost Souls and high Soul Reaping attributes is the best energy management you can have as a necro. You really shouldn't need much else.

Since the answers are allready given: ak, Soul Reaping, Insignas, Runes, Weapons (staff, wand, focus with e bonus) ...
I would advice (as a lvl9) to try and stick with Soul Reaping and either blood/ curses/ death (spreading out will only make you weaker) ... Also, make sure you dont use Superior Runes and perhaps only 1major rune (for either blood/ curses/ death) ... with the correct head gear you can get a +1+2/+1 or a +1+1 / +2 in those attributes... Then make sure you dont put all radiant/attunement on the rest of your armor, might be great to have tons of energy, but its not going to help you when you are flat on the floor ... ak. die all the time because your HP are very low... |

Wow. I can't believe how active and helpful this forum is! TY all for helping me with my totally newb question. I have invested more points and runes in Sreaping and this has helped alot. I also gained access to more skills (and 10th lvl) which has also helped. I *was* using higher energy skills for damage because that is all i had access to. Now, I have a couple new skills that really help with damage and cost less. I like the minion battery idea but i'm not focusing on minions -- skill is too slow and minions don't last very long so it makes me VERY impatient with whole process, lol.
I don't understand alot of what y'all have said, but i'll refer back in a week or two and see if i can understand it then=) I started an ELE/M to see what benefits they might offer...and kinda fell in love with Ele...O.o Luckily i have lots of time right now as i'm unemployed... |
