A question about Books in GW - Guild Wars Forums

Hi, I just encountered something that I don't understand.

Basically, I played through NF without getting the Night Falls book,
and I remembered that I should get the book.
So I did, and payed some money to fill the book with the missions
I've done.
The problem is, that I have done up to mission number 10
but the book was only filled for missions number 7 to 10.
All the missions I've done before are left 'Unknown'.

I thought I can get all the missions recorded in the book if I pay some gold?

Does this mean I just have to leave those pages blank?

When did you do the earlier missions? If you did them before the books were added to the game last November, then you can't pay to have them added to the book. The only thing you can do to fill those pages is to redo the missions.

Edit: Also, if you went for more than a month without doing any NF missions, any missions done prior to your taking a break can't be added to the book, so you will need to redo them. This information was just discovered recently. See the notes to Night Falls in the wiki.

If you do need to redo any missions, you don't have to get masters to get them recorded.

I am relatively new to the game.
The books were available all the time (for me).
So I did the missions after the books were added to the game.

So I guess the only way to fill them is to do the missions again..
