Reserve Bid
I always wondered why people put NON-hidden reserve bids, it's basically saying that ever if you have the highest bid but haven't hit the reserve bid there is no point.

What they are saying is that they do not feel obligated to sell unless bids exceed the reserve - not that they might not decide to sell regardless.
Different people have different styles and tempers, I'm not saying one method is better than the other. |

Its pointless, as there is no point in bidding below the reserve, the reserve effectively becomes the start bid.
