I am trying to get the protector of elona title.

Today I went and finished up the missions I needed in nm + bonus in sequence. After the last one in torment I took a look at my title panel and it showed only 18/20 missions completed. So I went back to guild wiki and went along the map checking off each mission to make sure I did every mission with the bonus. I have done every mission listed with the bonus including all of the choice path missions.

Stuck at 18/20.

Its either a bug, or I am missing something.

Please give me some ideas.

In 2 points of Nightfall you get to choose between 2 missions to continue the storyline, so you can complete the game without doing 2 missions but to get the protector/guardian title you have to complete those too!
The pair of missions mentioned above are:
1.Dasha Vestibule, Dzagonur Bastion
2.Pogahn Passage, Rilohn Refuge

If its not the two where the story line forks..then if your characted is not from NF, have you dont all of the noob island missions? Theres three..but only one is required when you bring your char from another campaign

If it's not either of the above two, double check your normal mode masters markers. When I looked really closely at my map in NM I found that I'd got 2 out of 3 spears for Dzagonur Bastion rather than the 3 out of 3 I assumed - something to do with the way the mission marker makes it look like it has a central spearshaft, I think.

You are likely missing the missions that require the hero Magrid the Sly or Master of Whispers, depending on which one you didn't pick.

Consulate Docks isn't counted as one of the three Istan missions, since it's included in the actual NF book and all characters have to do it. The three newb island ones are Chahbek Village, Jokanur Diggings, and Blacktide Den.

Anyway.

Chances are likely you missed the split-path missions, where you have to have either Master of Whispers or Margrid.

Unfrotunately it is not the split missions.
I have both master of the whispers and margris the sly unlocked and have double checked that I have beaten all the split path missions.

Ill recheck the markers extra slowly to make sure they are all there.

if everything else is complete it's probably this.

Ah, it was moddock crevice on the right side of the map. It is right in a shaded border, so it played tricks with my mind and looked like a spear for the bonus was in between the swords.

it might be Chabek Village if you aren't native. I had a hard time finding it on the map the first time I went for protector with a non-native.
