Has anyone ever actually seen this mod? Is there a weapon that has this as an inherent?

For all Core-Weapons there is a Dragon-Slaying mod. But it's not an inherent... it's the postfix for the weapon: Sword Pommel of Dragonslaying, Bow Grip of Dragonslaying etc....

Well I have never seen this mod..ever. I was wondering if they still dropped and from where in the game.

Would the z-chest drop the mod?

I have had all the following

Demonslaying
Dragonslaying
Plantslaying
TenguSlaying
Dwarfslaying
Trollslaying
Undeadslaying
Skeletonslaying
Charrslaying

I've had them mostly on non-inscribeable items. I have also had most of the same +10AR vs Monster type shield mods but again I dont recall them being on any inscribeable shields.

I've gotten several Dragonslaying mods to drop in Factions. I never kept them, just gave them to the merch, but I know I have had them on Bow, Axe, and Staff, probably on Daggers, Hammer, and Sword... but that is not positive.

I get quite a lot of the Slaying mods in Factions. Mostly vs. Ogre, Dragon, Demon....

Daggers? That would be the first Slaying mod for Daggers I have ever seen

(except the Charr-mod from EotN) ^^

Ye... those mods only come on non-inscribable Foci and Shields, since there are no "Armor+10 vs. Monster"-Inscriptions...

Got a Dragonslaying mod for staff not very long ago (read: this year). It was found on a non-inscribable Jade Staff (probably while vanquishing a HM Luxon area, yay faction).

I've had dragon slaying mods drop in FoW and factions. Farming minister Cho's estate HM with a Mo/N N/Mo 55 nets lots of demonslaying mods but mainly purples.

Useless on a staff, but I got the mod while vanquishing cantha probably 2 months ago. Put it on the staff for safekeeping, for no real reason

I don't know about that. I asked about dwarfslaying mods a while back and there were mixed reactions. Some people said that they were area specific. While others claimed that they were more likely to drop area specific, they could still drop anywhere.

i have noticed that creatures drop item for slaying themselves most often.
trollslaying from trolls for example
