Nightfall Hero Question - Guild Wars Forums

I went to the hero skills trainer and picked an axe attack and a strength attack for Koss. The axe attack doesn't show up in his skills list. Axe mastery isn't even listed just sword mastery and the two attacks he started with. Maybe I'm missing something obvious but I only see the strength attack was added. He was level 5 and it let me pick two skills before it said I had to pay 1 platinum and trade my skill point to get another choice. Where is the axe?

wow sounds either like a glitch or you made a mistake (not criticizing you)

I'd make sure the skill shows up for you (as prim or sec warrior), and that the skills trainer doesn't show that it's available for purchase

that notwithstanding, glitch.......

Ok, here's what happened: You had 1 hero skill point and tried to get 2 skills. So you only got the one you picked first (the strength skill it seems). You see, when you have any number of hero skill points and use them all up, you can "pick" an extra one, but you don't get it. Instead, when you pick that last skill, the window opens. Now, if you used all the hero skill points, do not pick that "extra" skill, when you re-click him, he will say the platinum thing even though you could have clicked another skill. You lost nothing gained nothing. Next time you get a hero skill point, you can get the skill then.

This has been happening since the game came out.

Here's my guess: The "axe skill" you're talking about is Whirlwind Attack which, despite being sold by a Hero Skill Trainer, isn't usable by heroes.
