How do i travel to zaishen menagerie from ascalon (before or after it has been struck)?

Pre-searing Ascalon is sealed off from the rest of the world. Once you leave it, you never come back!
So to get to anywhere, you'll need to leave Pre.
From Post-Ascalon, you will need to get to Lions Arch and take a boat from there. If you don't know where this is. I would recommended looking at storyline briefing on gw.gamewikis.org, or following the main story yourself if you don't like spoilers.

follow the yellow brick road to the pvp isles, make a sharp left turn head north for about 6 miles and it'll be on your right side.

or

make your way to lion's arch, travel to the pvp isles and map travel to the menagerie

btw in wich part of ascalon will i find the quest that takes me to lions arch?

You have to follow the mission chain (it's the game story after alll...) from Ascalon to the Shiverpeaks, then to Kryta, and from there you can go South and find LA:

Or join a guild with a guild hall (there will be lots of guilds recruiting in ascalon).

Travel to the Guild hall by pressing "G" and selecting Guild hall.

Then you should be able to see the menagerie on your map since you will be in the Battle Isles.

Am I correct guys?

I don't think so, at least not for the OP. Characters in pre can't access the guild hall. IIRC, new characters can't access Battle Isles except for the hall until they reach a certain tripping point. I think it's arriving in Lion's Arch for Tyrian characters, Kaineng City for Canthan characters, and I don't know for Elonians.

Well, you could always roll a new PvP-only character. They're immediately able to go to the Battle Isles and the Menagerie, but you wouldn't be able to put a pet from the pre-searing character in there that way.

Consulate Docks for Elonians. You are correct. You have to be at a port city where you can unlock travel to other campaigns to get the boat icon on your map. The boat then allows travel to the Great Temple of Balthazar, from which you can map to the Menagerie and other Battle Isles locations aside from the guild hall.
