Hi I am going to start vanquishing for the first time in Prophecies. Can anyone recommend any skills I can use with Assassin to make discord work? Also is there any mods on TexMod that can make vanquishing easier? Thank you!

P.S. Whats the best way to jot down all the locations you vanquished? Notepad on PC?

Why don't you look at Necromancer skills and decide for yourself.

Be nice, use Assassins Promise, EVAS, and YMLAD on your bar and 3 Necro's and no there are no mods on texmod, unless you count cartographer, and the area will come up gold if you successfully vanquished it when you press M

A.) Don't limit yourself to discord, there are plenty of builds/team builds/hero builds that are effective even without discord. ex. I gained Leg. Vanquisher without using a discord hero/teammate once. (But i did use a modded Sabway)

B.) Texmod only effects textures, vanquishing has nothing to do with textures :/

C.) Once you change your game to Hard Mode every red helmet area = not vanquished, the red helm changes to a gold helm when you successfully vanquish an area.

If you have difficulty with an area, run a moebius sy spammer. Bring something like shadow of fear/ suffering and enfeebling blood/ weaken armor on a curse necromancer and your requirement can be fulfilled that way.

Or get a friend to run an ap caller so you can bring save yourselves.

Make sure you do cartography while you vanquish. You'll regret it if you don't.

Having to go back and get bits and pieces for the carto title was horrible.

Dont run the lame discord crap with Promise+FH and shit, you can pump out way more damage.

Jagged Strike+Fox Fangs+DB+Asuran Scan+SY+Crit Agility+Optional Elite+Crit Eye.

Jagged fulfills condition, asuran hex, and you'll be doing way more damage.

Put SoH on a hero for yourself, and splinter on another.

Doing 200+a hit with DB on warrior types beats general discord bar.

Despite your fail logic, I for some reason see a need to respond. Prophecies HM has, perhaps, the most blocking of all three of the campaigns. Rangers are just one example (many of them have lightning reflexes, which seems to have not made it to your list for some reason). Many HM monks in prophecies have Aegis or guardian, warriors have blocking stances, as well as skills like riposte, glad's defense, etc. Even eles with wards can be problematic. Having a lead attack that is easily blocked makes far less sense than having something which is unblockable. Also, the bleeding from Jagged strike does dick against non-fleshy foes (and frankly does little else anyway except somewhat help out discorders). Why not run something much more useful like "You Move Like a Dwarf!", which can't be blocked or interrupted. For a lead attack, why not take Golden Fox Strike, especially when you're hoping to be enchanted anyway? And Wild Strike for an offhand for the same reason (plus it removes nasty stances).

By the way saying not to use AP because of backfire is a poor and bad analogy. A better one would be to say don't run AP in areas with good hex removal (like vs Jade brotherhood in Factions for example). If you had been on your game enough to say that... well then we'd all agree with you. Sadly, you weren't.

Gargolyes - SoD 75% block elite, bait it, then tab.
Grawl - No
Charr - SoJ single target, tab/Strip
Shiverpeaks
Modniir Protectors - No.
Avicaras- SoJ, single target, easy strip/tab
Dolyaks - No Blocks
Griffons - No Blocks
Kryta
White Mantles - No blocks
Aloes - No Blocks
Damned Clerics - Nope.
Skeleton Priests - No
Maguuma jungle
Modniir Protters - No blocks.
White Mantle Again - No blocks
Crystal Desert
Losaru's - SoD, See gargoyles
Enemy Priests/sages - Woah, first aegis in proph I can think of, better just spam that 1 recharge lead, or better yet don't run any melee since you'll never hit.
Fire Isles
Mursaats, Main High end Prof Monks - Huh? Nope. These even have purity, which make discord worse.

Out of what I can think of are the main monks, go ahead and list whatever else you think belongs, but there was one enemy that had aegis, and two that carried a block, which was single targeting

Out of rangers I can think of Jades, White Mantles, And devourers (In Ascalon)

Warriors? Sorry honestly can't think of anything except a 6 second stance on Elemental swords in Desert.
In high end proph at ring of fire, I can think of ettins, Jades, and the titans, none of which can block.

Once again, point above about spamming dagger attacks on any enemy with blocks

And my backfire analogy was actually quite as well stated as your 'don't use meleelolblocking comparison.' There is just as much anti caster as there are 'blocks'.

This is all proph data, which your first post stated. And only on blocks not anti melee hexes/Blind, which is an entirely different arguement. My point stands, for a sin, DB spam is going to be better in a discord team, and any other team at that.

First off, go assassin paragon.
Bar: Assassins Promise, You move like a dwarf, Ebon vangaurd assassin support, finish him!, fall back!,stand you ground,signet of deadly corruption,res sig. Can replace EVAS with Pain inverter in some areas.

It really depends...you can be boring as use the standard AP+YMLA and others. Or you could just take normal skills with something like asura scan and condition inflicting skills (twisting blades/palm strike yadayada).

Enduring toxin is actually really good for a cover hex if there is hex removal on your foes.
Signet of deadly corruption is another good one if your already a sin.

2 left hmm...

Id go and bring party boosting skills (paragon is good for this as mentioned before)

Another good one is:
Same 4 skills: AP, YMLAD, Sin Sup, FH.

Jagged Strike
Fox Fangs
Death Blossom
Signet of Deadly Corruption OR Enduring Toxin. Or even just bring a res.
