RA "Sync" Bug CLEARLY Not Fixed
If you're gonna lie to us about "Fixing" a bug that "allows" players to sync in RA, the least you can do is ATTEMPT to do it
Clearly, this issue was not fixed at all... P.S. - Please don't start a discussion about "omg who cares about RA syncing" because this is not an opinion thread...it's just here to let everyone know that syncing is still as prevalent as ever kkty |

Bro, we knew syncing wasn't fixed the day ANet implemented that update.

Clearly not synced, there's two guild tags there. Seriously though, what Shayne said. There were people that synced up within like 15 minutes of that update.
Also, in before the picture is deleted for posting names. |

They made it more difficult to orchestrate, but unless you plan on making all players wait a longer period of time in between games to increase the potential pool of players entering each round, there is absolutely no way you could prevent a group of four players from entering at the same time and have some or all of them end up on the same team randomly.

Its been painfully obvious for a long time that Anet isnt interested in expending any effort to stop syncing other than what they can do in a few minutes with a ham sandwich in one hand.
Mixing the districts is the only thing I have heard of them trying. That was a total farse. The American districts were already mixed, and the other districts are usualy pretty empty anyway. People posted a number of plausible ideas on GWW when this became a hot topic after the announcement of TA being removed. Were any of them even attempted??? I doubt it. |

1) It isn't much harder. Word travels fast; once I'd heard the workaround an hour after the update, Tis and I attempted it and synced on the first attempt. We won, left and lol'd.
2) 3/4 syncing is definitely syncing. That has to be the stupidest argument I've heard on Guru in a while...and as we all know, that's saying something. 3) Skyy is correct that with the current join system determined people will successfully sync. |

As I've said twice before, the proper fix is to add a short random waiting period between when you press the button and when you are added to the queue. Given the current levels of people I see if I stick my head into RA, I think 5sec or so should do it. From the user's side, your wait timer would randomly last 30-35 seconds on the first cycle instead of a fixed 30.

This is indeed a known issue. And no, we don't allow the posting of screenshots with players names.
