Your main character doesnt have to be your main farmer too ...
Stick with your paragon for PvE Hard mode Elite areas titles etc, and drag all other classes you want into farming. Yes, shadow form maybe hitting the bat, but they also mentioned other skills included in farming. That might include things such as 600/smite skills, obsidian flesh etc. The only way you will be clearing FoW then is physway or something, and that kind of thing is not pug friendly. |

Get both through all the missions.
Why you want expensive armour/stuff for your monk? An nice elite set and some nice looking weapons are way cheaper then that other showoff stuff. You can take expensive/good looking stuff for your main (You're paragon). If you have a main account. It doenst need to be a farmer. You can only use you're monk for farming. And your paragon for other stuff. |

It always boils down to:
Do you like monking? A) Yes B) No If A, progress your Monk further in the game, if B, continue playing with your Paragon. The past has shown us making a character solely for a niche and nouveau farming build is a waste, for most of the farms gets nerfed eventually. However, Monks are always sought for. My man is a Ranger, but when venturing out with the Alliance, most of the time I'll bring my Monk because that profession is always needed. |

I have already beat all games on my para and I have primeval chaos gloves and good wepon sets alredy now monk was my first And tied for my favorite char with the other being my para I just find that paras can get boring to run by yourself sometimes

If you enjoy playing your monk, then by all means, get him up to speed after this period of neglect. You can have more than one busy character. My warrior is my main, but my necro sees a lot of use when grouping with guild members, and my rit does most of the common drop farming.
As for armor, that is a very personal choice, so asking opinions is a waste of time.

If you are going for GWAMM I'd say you are up for some lonely hours up ahead. Protectors, Guardian, LB, SS, EotN reputation are doable with teams. Vanq, skillhunter, Leg master of the north are less likely to do completely with teams (though it's very possible to get most done with teams). Because either way you are looking at a serious amount of gameplay you really need to decide which profession you like most since you will be playing it a lot. Don't take titles too serious. Sure, max them if you can. But don't have them take the fun away. Play the profession you want to play, not the profession you need to play because of titles. Having said this, consider if you want the support role monks often have, specially in human teams. Many people don't really like to have that role all the time. They want to kill stuff, not keep the team working. Remember you can work on the account wide titles with all professions. And last, if you are not sure I'd suggest you wait till after the skill balance. It might be that paragons get a buff (or SY a nerf) or that some monk skills are changed. In that time just do stuff on both and have fun. |
