Help! Game Account Locked!
I'm in absolute panic, went to log in to my main GW account tonight for the first time in a week and my username and or password wasn't recognised. Was able to log in to my second account - but not my main but they use the same password. I've logged a support ticket with NC Soft support - but they haven't been able to help with any other problems on my main account because it isn't connected to my NC Soft Master Account - and can't be connected for an unknown reason but possibly because my NC Master account was created after I bought GW originally ... NC Master account is linked to my 2nd GW account and all my other NC soft games - but not my main GW account.
*cry* What can I do now? |

can only reset password if its linked to NC Soft Master Account

i find that if u dont check ur account maby daily you somehow are more likely to be hacked because honesly i rarly read any stories about how i just lost my account from this morning till 4 hours later but when there gaps of days i hear tons of stories about it and the NC soft accounts seem to be easy to hack so be careful with both of those and GL with getting it back with some stuff still there

it's 2am ... can't sleep ... anger is starting to hit me.
NC Soft have told me for three years - ever since I bought the second account that the first could not be be linked to my NC Soft Master Account because of an unknown issue with the serial key. They said the same thing again back in April when the 4th year bonus storages became available - I couldn't get it because I couldn't link my GW key to my NC account. So what the *beep* is going on now? Someone else who doesn't have my serial key can just add it to their account anyway? Right now I don't care about my stuff, I just want my "Aimee" back. 4 years of solid work ... gone |

Stay in contact with support... dig out all your key codes used for that account, prove to them (support) that it is indeed your account and get them to retrieve it for you... the sooner the better.

If your 2nd account is in the same guild as the first account you can check to see if anyone has been on that account via the guild screen.....it will say when each person was last on.
2nd I would recheck to make sure you have the right login name (sometimes my keyboard doubles letters or leaves some out)..... and then the only thing WE can tell you is to keep in touch with support .

It only says that the account hasn't logged in for a week. No one in the guild or on my friends list has seen anyone log in on that account either. Just wish I knew what was going on, haven't heard anything back from support since Sunday, when I sent them all the serial keys. :S
I've checked and doubled checked the login, and scanned system and my laptop for viruses, trojans, spyware. Done a Spybot S&D check and even ran HiJack This - everything came up clean. :S Mum's just suggested maybe it's GW Support themselves locking accounts so people are forced to buy another copy game. Think she needs coffee ... they wouldn't... surely ... aggh |

If Anet notices your account has been hijacked by RMT gold traders or the like they will lock it down until the matter has been dealt with... but yeah, you're mother is just paranoid and might need to switch medications.
Stay in contact with support, ask for a follow up/update on your support ticket if it's been a while since you heard from them... |

Just got it back, still checking what's gone, but looks like they just took the gold from storage, ectos and my gifts of the traveller. Could have been worse. Well back to farming again.
