Dishonorable status - Guild Wars Forums

I earned this status by leaving team twice.From what I know I have to wait for it to expire untill I can play.

what I want to know,can this status harm my account in any way... otherwords is it illegal to leave team on regular basis,or its just about waiting for my status to expire?

Dishonorable has no effect on your account.

It's just an indication of bad sportsmanship.

ur account status can only be harmed by being reported(example:leeching). leaving/dishonorable will only temporarily prevent u from playing any forms of pvp.

You don't have to worry about any marks on your account (Unless people report you for leeching, then there is a potential mark there.)

Leaving teams is a pretty lame thing to do, but you won't get banned for it because you don't benefit like leechers do.

Every time you leave a match prematurely, you gain 5 points of dishonor on your account. You need 10 to get dishonor. Leave twice = dishonor.

For each point of dishonor, I think you get two (maybe one?) minute of dishonor for every point on your account. These points reset if you do not gain more points in 60 minutes.

If you report someone for leeching, the person you report gets 2 points, as do you.

If 1/3rd of your team reports, you do not get the 2 points of dishonor.

You can also get dishonor simply by standing in a PvP match, although it's unknown (Thankfully) how this system works.

So, don't worry about Dishonor if you're just abandoning a team.
