Wintersday Nine Rings, Lucky Title Track Question
For weeks I have been saving gold so that I would have enough to buy max tickets to play Nine Rings during Wintersday. Now, I see you need Candy Cane Shards. However, I can't seem to find a confident answer as to whether Nine Rings provides Lucky Title track points during Wintersday.
Assuming, Nine Rings does provide lucky title track points can someone tell me: How many Nine Ring games get played during each closing event? Does the game continue for all 3 hours until the next event starts? Is there a finite number of games? Thanks. |

The rings provide a tiny amount of points. During the finale, the rings part of it all lasts maybe 10-15 minutes. On one of the talk pages on the wiki, I found this -- "One char stood in the corner in Kamadan for each event; 86 Unlucky, 158 Lucky. "
So really, you're not going to get anything substantial towards lucky points. You'll only end up using a couple of shards each round. Oh, and there are 9 finale events in total. |

Yes, they add to lucky/unlucky. Not sure if the game continues between appearances. The event will run for 24hrs with appearances every 3 hours, for 9 appearances. Each appearance lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Keep the gold you saved for the 9 Rings, all is not lost. Just hang onto it until the Canthan New Year comes out in February. Those are the 9 Rings you likely want to do. I do not recall weather or not the 9 Rings in Lions Arch or Kamadan provide any points to Lucky/Unlucky but even if they did, the window to use them while Dwayna/Grenth are there is so small.

As best as I can remember - "How many Nine Ring games get played during each closing event?" Not sure how many, but as stated above they only last about 15 mins. Then after Nine rings rings you start getting presents in your inventory for like the next 15 mins, so don't just shut down or leave as soon as nine rings is over. "Does the game continue for all 3 hours until the next event starts?" No. The short nine rings game and the 15 minutes present thing is it. Then you wait 3 hours for the next one. "Is there a finite number of games?" Yeah - once every 3 hours for a total of 9 times. Might as well point out this is when you get the hats. You'll see in even district numbers most people on one set of rings and in odd districts they stand on the other. This is so we can get both hats... go to an even district once and an odd district once. |

No the OP is confused. Hence mentioning buying tickets. When people are talking about going afk on 9 rings they are talking about the boardwalk not Wintersday. Keep saving.
