Do elite armors on different characters count towards HoM?
I remember that HoM was meant to have become account based, but Im not sure if elite armor on multiple characters counts or not?

Different sets of elite armor on different characters will count towards the HOM when set to account wide. I believe that same sets (Vabbian armor on 2 characters, for example) will only count once towards the HoM when set to account wide, but each will count towards the HoM when set to each individual character.

It also serves as a nice way to preview armor. If you have an elite armor set on one character, and load a second character, the HoM will allow you to see that armor set when in account mode. Armor sets that are not available (Elite Luxon for Paragon for example) do not display, but all others will.

So if you want to unlock all statues for HoM that can only be done using at least 3 diffrent professions. |

It's hard to answer such a question when the community doesn't even have a clear idea of what the HoM is supposed to do or just how it works.
Personally though, I consider doubling up on armors to be a waste of money. There are 20 different armor classes to add to the HoM. Even if dedicating a second set of a specific armor set were to count for something, it's far more likely that deding a new set will have a far better result. |

Just do 5 different sets on your main char and then it doesn't matter what else you get, you'll have 5 sets for the char view and 5 sets for the account view .

But I have 5 PVE characters and elite armor on 3 of them (Monk Kurzick, Elly Canthan, Para Asuran).
Then I were hoping that taking either of the remaining EOTN armors on my rit and mes will give me the 5 required sets. I cant be asked with getting 5 sets on one character as it wastes too much storage space. |

Get it on multiple chars. I was hoping to have a link, but it's too hard to track down a few month old developer comment on wiki.
ANet pretty much stated in no uncertain terms that everything in the HOM will transfer to GW2 on an account by account basis, meaning that the game could care less which char got which monument as long as it's unlocked on the account. On that note, I'll do the usual rant that I do in these sorts of topics: Thanks for wasting our time /w a "feature" that did nothing more than show what anyone with half a brain already knew, ANet. How about you get to overhauling the KOABD title into account wide so we're no longer tied to the same char for for title farming like a bunch of medieval peasants. |
