Why is the support on this game so slow?
I have put in a ticket 4 days ago about my account getting hacked, and on day 3 I got an email saying that they are moving my question to account department. I haven't been in contact with such horrible support since sending in my xbox 360, what is going on?

You are dealing with NCSoft, who's been flooded recently with these support tickets. NCSoft covers many different games. Their new game, Aion, has seen a recent HUGE number of these and it's slowing them down.
Though I hear it's not as bad as WoW right now. Was told it's 3 weeks to get a response from their support by a few people. |

Funny you mention wow, because I also play WoW and regardless of if they can help you or not they give you some kind of notice that you aren't wasting your time.
Edit: Neither WoW or NCsoft support has ever let me down, but as far as speed is involved, I have never had a ticket on WoW that went 4 days unanswered Edit 2: Solving my problem would take 2 minutes flat, all I need is my ncsoft master account info so I could get my stolen GW account back. Lately there's been a large number of stolen accounts in both GW and Aion. I've seen posts on Gaile's page of some people waiting a week or more before actually reaching a person instead of an auto-response. NCSoft's support personnel are helpful, but apparently overworked. It may take time, but it will get straightened out.

NCSoft currently has a ranking of F from the better business bureau.
Just read the GSU update, and you'll realize that this game may be fun, but it's run by scum. |

Stop reading the wiki. It is NOT a source of information. In fact, the source cited for the words you are using as "Truth" leads you directly to the information which specifically states that they have a rating of C-. Not F.

Yeah, I forgot about that change in the score, as it was mentioned on the GSU thread. I was actually planning to come back to this thread to edit and correct that mistake, because I just remembered that, but people have already jumped all over me for that. Although, I've noticed 4 different people complain on guru that the wiki reference is wrong.... and yet nobody has bothered to actually change the wiki to the correct rating. Strange, people bitching about me being lazy for not doing the research, but are also the same people who are to lazy to correct the wiki. Hypocrites.
And really, that just indicates to me that at the time that wiki article was written, it was an F. It likely has gone up since the wiki article was written. Regardless, C- is still freaking terrible. The fact that people are trying to JUSTIFY a C- as "not that bad" is pathetic. Eh, depends. An MMO has a surprisingly large audience from a diverse set of backgrounds. I know we have IT people, former game developers, historians, chemists, and a few other interesting professions on guru at any given point in time.
I for example, am a lawyer. If I wanted to, I could sue them, and it would cost me nothing but my own manhours to do so. Sorta as an amusing side project. I have no intention of doing so... but I'm sure there are plenty of fans out there with connections just like me. Not everybody who plays video games are 13 year old kids anymore. |

There, wiki is edited to show ACTUAL information. Now they can stop saying "F! ZOMG!" It even makes the section look funny because instead of saying EA has an A, they in fact have a D-. Which means that EA has worse support than NCSoft.
Odd that Blizzard isn't listed. Though, they have a B, which is quite silly. |

I do not refer to Arenanet/ Guildwars as the reason as sinking so low..I refer to the players that are soo damn ignorant to do any credible research at all.
They talk out their [email protected] and bitch moan and complain about anything that makes them bleed! "omg this skill is broken/...omg I can't create a counter to that...omg....there is too much lag...omg ...customer service sucks... omg... where is my mommy to wipe my [email protected]??!!" |
