Default Measure for Measure

Will you please share specifically what type of loot you apply the Measure for Measure inscription? Last night I sold 10 for 500g each. Every time I sell them, I ask but never get a reply.

What type of salvage justifies spending 500g to get more of it?

Thanks.

you put them on Great conchs, and then you salvage the conchs for 70-120 piles of dust, and a stack of dust can sell for up to 4k, so it is very profitable

Some items will salvage into valuable materials and a MfM inscription would increase the amount. For example, most swords can expert salvage into Steel Ingots, and an MfM would make even more. I think that most people who would pay 500g for an MfM would be wanting to use them on things like Ruby Daggers to get more rubies.
(I haven't done this very often, so I don't know how profitable it could be, but I don't think I would pay 500g for an MfM - they seem pretty common to me.)

The estimated price range for measure for measure is 100-500g so there's nothing weird about people paying that much for it.

They could be putting it into common items to get iron ingots.

Best thing to put them on is bramble bows as they salvage into plant fibres.

plant fibres are currently 10k/stack

Or cleavers, which can salvage into 80-150 granite (though only if they drop in certain places, otherwise you get wood).

Or heck, just a sword or dagger. Steel and iron are usually pretty valuable. And, if you are trying to get them to craft (armor, cons) rather then turn a profit, it's a lot cheaper then buying from the trader. They aren't as profitable as some of the things being mentioned here, but they are more useful and still cost effective to buy at 500g each.

using them on jeweled daggers and stuff is more of a lotto. That's not really cost effective.
