Question about Luxon skills - Guild Wars Forums

Hey, a simple question really:

Can I unlock luxon skills if I get guested by a luxon guild, even though I am part of a kuzrick ally?

U can get luxon skills even if u are in kurzick guild, but u need r1 rank on luxon title + faction to unlock skills, just go to cavalon for it

You can unlock luxon skills without being Luxon and Kurzick Skills without being Kurzick. Accumulate 100000 points on your Luxon/Kurzick title (have r1) and go to Cavalon/House Zu Heltzer and speak with the Luxon Scavenger/Kurzick Bureaucrat while having at least 3000 unspent kurzick/luxon points.

Ah, I forgot to mention I haven't been to those places at all

simply because I haven't bothered with doing factions yet. Would my suggested method of getting a guest invite to a Luxon guild work? I have r4 luxon, and I can get the 3k luxon faction easy enough with FA/JQ

The only place to get the luxon skills is in Cavalon. Either way you will have to get to at least there. Otherwise, seems like you'll be fine (faction wise).

To sum up - you need to be rank 1 in Kurzick/Luxon track and have 3000 K/L points to spend per skill. It doesn't matter how you get the points, but you have to get to Cavalon or House Zu Heltzer to actually "buy" the skills.

Also, keep in mind you can only have 1 version of the same luxon/kurzick skill on a bar at a time (ie, you can't have two copies of triple shot, luxon and kurzick, on a skill bar at the same time, the game actually considers them the same skill)

guild halls are fine as well, guested work too, the only restriction for buying a skill is being lvl 20.
