well... if you are in the european districts then that could exsplain why.. i noticed this too.. i perosnally think its b/c no one likes NF but thats just me. xD( although ppl in america can sometimes be seen.. just not that often* and if ur feeling lonely go to american d2 in kamadan.. that will make u feel "un-lonely".)
Also the title of your post is incorrect.. it should read "Do people still play GW." I understand that you might not normally speak english or it was a typo but it was annoying me xD. |

A lot of us long-time players have gotten our fill of doing the storyline arcs and are either:
PvPing a lot. Grinding titles. Vanquishing with heroes & henchmen. Participating in festivals. Farming. Power trading. At least that's what I'm doing. I'm almost always in Jade Quarry ATM, grinding my Kurzick/Luxon titles. There are still active guilds out there, and if you want to have some people to play with, you might want to check some of them out. The days of large groups of people hanging around the towns and outposts PUGging are mostly over (at least until GW2 comes out and then we'll have a whole new game to explore). |

I for one do not visit NF often, there is not much to do after you completed it. EoTN offers much more. But even Doomlore seems a bit abandoned on same days.

i have all 3 chapters of gw plus eotn
i log on daily, yes indeed, daily, well, nearly daily...yes i do. i, for the most part, log on to improve my solo farming techniques/builds (solo farming is very very challenging, let me tell you).. as well as capping titles,...uhm.. well, at least i am trying to work on titles (titles take a long time but then again i don't play all day). not in the very least am i bored with gw, but i am so eagerly awaiting gw2, yes, indeed, gw2 awaiting i am. you be catch'n my drift, mister? solid! -.- Last edited by aeligos; Feb 10, 2010 at 08:09 PM // 20:09.. There are still lots of people in the servers, especially in parts of EotN, but most of them are doing crap like mentioned above. |

american districts are where the people are, that can be said for at least the eu english server anyway ^^. i'm finally getting to the point where i'm not playing GW anymore (though i may come back) its not really because GW is boring its because theres more fun stuff to do . anyway lots of players hang around areas like main towns, or area specific towns such as ToA. pity barely anyone appears in the kodash bazaar or the faction towns, been like that since summer 2008 at least
p.s. i'm least likely to be found in NF dunno if other people feel that way too? |

most of those story line city's in nightfall wont be very popular for alot of the old gamers of gw such as my self i spend my time in the top three city's or out in explorable areas not in the "one timer" city's

When you think about it, most of the gameplay time is spent grinding through the area, I only spend 2 or 3 minutes in an outpost before I leave for a VQ.

You're in a fan forum asking people if they still play? What do you think the answer is? Take your time. Don't answer too quickly.

After mapping, vqing, mission-ing, and capping throughout NF there is no way I would ever go back. Neither prophicies nor factions bother me as much... Probably just me tho...

I still like NF very much, I have more problems with factions which I just can seem to finish. The setting is just so boring. Going trhough it with my Rit and I just got to kaineng city and already I think it's boring.
With my main char I never got any further than those celestial thingies. |
