Roller beatle racing
for the las couple of years I haven't really bothered trying to get the mini but next year I will, but I have a few questions concerning it.
1. is there a ladder where you can see where you are ranked in the world? 2. how does the scoring system work 3. can you get more than one mini per account. |

1. yes you can see where you are ranked
2. From what I understand, it does not matter how many times you have raced, but it depends on how "fast" you hit the finish line. You start out with 600,000 points, as you progress you lose them. The faster you finish the more points your have. 3. Your name may(aka account) may only be on ladder ONCE. 4.It is impossible to win. Weather or not ANet sees this or cares, people use a simple non-traceable hack to win. It is illegal but people do this. They almost teleport to the end, thus getting an incredibly high score. YES they do this, but from what I've seen they dont care, people use 100 accounts, making 100 mini-pets, making them the richest people in the game. |

It is possible to win in fact, all the top 100 times are real and stuff. That screenshot wasnt from this weekend. Like everything you gotta practice it, theres a texhnique to it and theres a youtube video of a good time, just watch that and learn.

1. Speak to Eldrid the Ancient. Weekly/monthly best is all that really matters.
2. You start with 600k points, and you lose 1k for every second of time that passes. 3. You can not post more than one score to the top 100 list per account. Your best score is what counts. It is not uncommon for some players to use multiple accounts to place themselves on the high score list multiple times, but such a practice is only meaningful during the Canthan New Year. And since someone said "teleport" in a rollerbeetle thread, I feel compelled to entertain you with this: How does one get a score above 590k, you might ask? I played all saturday. Decided to stop after 2 stacks of tokens. I won so much in a row.. But I couldn't get higher then 464k lol.
You muust - Be exremely lucky! Get the echo + super beetle. - So ur lucky, Now Hope nobody kd's you down!! Or you can shake it and restart. - So ur still going? Let's hope you know the perfect route + good moments to use skills (hills slow you down, so use speed boosts at hills). - Still in teh race? I hope you won't get rubberbanded! Happens alot! Yh It's possible to get in top 100 (legal). There is a vid on youtube, he got 484k. But gl @shayne, When was that SS?. It seems at the begin (alot of fail scores) So I assume he got banned? Coz I didn't see that score on saturday. |

Don't listen to all the conspiracy people who talk about Botting and Teleporting (Although that one was kind of cool to read, hadn't heard that one yet). All of the top times on the top 100 are legit.
All you really have to do to get a top time is, 1. Study up on how Rollerbeetle works. 2. Work on improving your runs and find a base run to start with (usually a good idea to watch one of the better people and see what they do and then work with their run and improve on how you run it) 3. Practice. (most important step) 4. Have a bit of luck. @Shayne... O_o What exactly is that screen shot? I mean I see the 599, but is that this year cause I don't remember seeing that during this weekend and I was in there for a lot of the weekend. |

599,750.
Ignore my ignorance. But... How? What cheat did they use to pull that off? Client hacking? |
