Power Trading?
I am looking to make some gold, so i can finally afford some of the items I've always wanted and I have a few questions about how to start power trading.
1. How much gold do I need to start? 2. What sort of items are easier to trade and which require more skill to trade effectively? 3. Where to find the best deals? I plan to use the price check forum a lot to try and get a better understanding of item prices. Also any other tips would be greatly appreciated. |

1. 1k
2. Do elite tomes, Ectos, Shards, Zkeys and Minipets if your cautious. 3. Buy in LA sell in Kamadan. Price check forum is weak and commonly incorrect and outdated. Find a friend you trust and bounce all prices off them. If youve been playing for 2+years you should be able to guess most of the prices anyways. |

Rule of thumb: if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't be power trading.
Don't mean to be a dick, but it's true. If you don't know where your profit margins lie and what can be traded quickly to make/maximize profit, you probably aren't ready. |

Yeah agree with above post...BUT. I have noticed a lot of bs'ers in Kamadan lately, More then their should be. There are a lot of inconsistent prices that should not be trusted.

If you're new to powertrading then I recommend starting with low-end items.
Try powerselling ectos. |

Start with items over 50k...Minipets for example, but focus on green minies and/or limited edition minies (Varesh,Asura,Ceratodon etc..)...Try to pay less you can and sell them for 20/30k extra of what you paid (IF POSSIBLE), if not try less :10/15k or 10k.
Then, when you start get money, check trade chat to see what ppl request and try to supply things they need. In simple words, start with 10/15k things and slowly increase value of your sell-things.. |

Make sure that when your powertrading, that the time to acquire and sell this items is worth the time, otherwise it may be better off farming for money instead. I find ecto worth powertrading if I can buy/sell in large bulks.

Ectos are good to begin but they dont make you rich and you need farm them or the profit is very very low when you resell them. Minies are very good to powertrading, btw common weapons too : VS,Emerald,Obsidian,BDS.... (If you are lucky VS bring you a lot of money) |
