Unable to log into Game - Guild Wars Forums

Hi there

Seem to be having problems similiar to the last update, where I have attempted to log into Guildwars with no changes to my i.e'username, password or character name'.

However I am getting an error code 227 for wrong pasword. If there is a problem with the password I'm unable to reset this to get a new password as my account is linked to NCsoft. Now the fun begins NCSoft site would not allow me to reset my password as current password is incorrect and I have checked with friends and my character is still offline and names still exist.

I am guessing I need to contact support to ask them to reset the password so a new one can be provided but that may take time. Is there anything else that can be done for convenience sake?

Update: Tried to email support however my account for emailing them has been blocked what a fantastic weekend I am having so far. What ever will be next?

If anyone can point me in the right direction or shed some light it would be great

.... Before you talk to Gaile you do need to contact support (it even says so on her page :P)

Basically if you want this sorted as soon as possible then you need to include in your email:

The first and last name you used to open the account with
The irl postage address your account is linked to
Your date of birth
A name of a character on the account
The retail codes used for each expansion on the account (so the activation codes from your boxes)

- I had to recently reset my password too and this is what they asked for so it will save you waiting for a reply with that in if you just send it off to them straight away!

My password was reset within 48 hours, while NcSoft has crap customer support for its games we are lucky enough to be under the flag of the Anet team who wub us :P
