Coming back, looking for answers.
Hey all, it's been a while since I've posted. I haven't played Guild Wars for about 4 months now, and I am looking to get back into the game to start getting ready for GW2. I am a heavy PvE player, and I'm looking for some assistance.
I'm basically looking for advice on which class to play. I am starting from scratch, and I am looking for a class on which I can go through the campaigns (Both NM and HM) efficiently, and one that I can also do Dungeons with, or High End areas like DoA etc. I am willing to put in lots of time, so the speed of the class doesn't really matter (I'm not looking to speed clear). I am also looking for a self-sufficient farming class. These may be big things to ask for, but hopefully I can get some help. Thanks PS - I am also looking for a high end PvE guild, if there are any recruiting. |

What the above said.
Monk is ALWAYS an option, but that's rather obvious. Rits, esp with recent buffs, are also very wanted nowadays. So Ele, Rit and Monks are definite gogo's, with Rit being rather slow in becomming effective (In the endgame, uptill then it's rather a slow profession) With every other profession, you can obviously achieve just as much, maybe even faster (Warrior = steamroll), but those classes are rarely used in specific farming builds... |
