Money Making - Guild Wars Forums

Hey
I'm pretty new here, I don't normally post so firstly I'm sorry if I've put this in the wrong section.

Also before I get told off for repeating posts and not using the search... I have, but everything I find is asking for something slightly different to this.

Basically, as I'm sure everyone does, I want a good way to make in-game gold.

I'm not talking about 1-2K a run jobs I mean good money fast...
I always ask myself the question "How the heck do people afford obsidian armour?" Do good ways of making money exist or do people actually sit there and do the same run hundreds and thousands of times over in order to get one piece of obsidian armour? (not that I'm looking into obsidian armour, I just want easier ways of getting the armour that I do want, I'm just using it as an example).

I have no limitations really. I have a character slot with 1 character of each profession at lvl 20 (except Paragon). I have all 4 campaigns. I'm willing to travel to get any skills I need or runes or weapons. So I'm willing to do anything with any of my characters in order to find a decent way.

I used to do allot of UW soloing and Duos. I had a rit solo build, a Monk, Necro. And tried trapping teams, 55/ss teams and so on. I'v tried allot of things basically

Allot of these builds have however been nurfed

Another thing i found with UW/FoW solo builds is they were too risky.... 1 wrong move and uv lost the 1K it cost u to get in and u probably haven't found enough drops to cover it.

I'm Working on a 600/smite team for FoW with a mate of mine, just waiting for him to get his build together. I'v never really farmed much in FoW. Do people prefer it to UW?

But yea enough of my rambling, basically I want the best way to make fast money

Read the stickies, specifically the one titles Rules and Frequently Asked Questions. You may find this in there:

"Asking about how to earn gold/money/items is not allowed. There are enough threads already, and there are forums more suited for those threads, like the farming forum."

As Red said - also a good start is to go into farming section and spend a few hrs trawling thru threads and checking out ventaris for a guide on items being sold.
Time spent will pay off as the wealth of info on guru is vast - seeing what items you may be able to farm , what farms pay off etc.
