unwaking waters bug? - Guild Wars Forums

hey ya'll hope this is the right board ^^.
Anywho i'm going for the guardian titles e.t.c. and i can't manage to beat Kuuni in the final room e.t.c anywho i saw some groups can get to the cutscene the first time they attack kuunavang.
Any idea how to do that? (i've checked wiki, they all have speedy times but no explanation)

yes i read them before, it doesn't say how though, and i've been trying different things so i'd kinda like to know how people can get teh cut scene within a few seconds of attacking kuuni

most of the time my team is
me<---spirit spammer (kuuni just flies away after we get her down to half)
another is a monk
another is a hybrid RoJ/prot
another is a fire ele or MM.

one--its not a bug I have been in groups that did it...you need to have a LOT of spike damage from BOTH teams very very fast....
in the final room you need to kite out of the starting position and get out of any spores dropped (a sos rit can drops some spirits on the side and you team can do damage from there as well) I have also found that the vanguard assassin works pretty good on kunnie...as well as lots of interrupts for the spores etc.
If this mission is the zaishen mission you will be able to find lots of teams that can do this mission very quickly.

Really for the interupts the mesmer hench is enough to get Kunni. I just did the mission today on my monk and I took the mesmer with me and it interupted the spores and lightning.
To get the time down fast last time I did it on the first try with discord and spirit spam with my rit had no problems NM or HM.

If you really want fast times on this mission, try getting 3 guildies to have 12-way discordway (6 on each side and then syncing in to the mission).

hench monks are enough to keep you up. Don't waste your hero slots with monks. Use damage.

i got to kuun in under 2:00 with my 2 accounts synced (one luxon, other kurz) with d-way and some ranged attack henchies thrown in. 6 discords rapes him quick.

This sounds strange, but one of the key helping things seems to be to NOT interrupt kunvie's dark spore/scales skills in the first part. If you're doing damage that pulls her below her "run away" threshold, she will still hang around if she's in the middle of activating a skill. (A lot of teams accidentaly achieve this because kunvie has interrupt resistance and you need daze or mez disable to reliably interrupt her. ) You can drag this out further with something like arcane conundrum.

Pain inverter, pain inverter, pain inverter! If you're by yourself bring the mes skill Arcane Echo. It helps to have some MM's too along the way as their minions keep the other spawns busy.
