Trade between two accounts
Ok, so i looked and couldn't find anything regarding my question so i'll ask you all. I own 2 accounts on GW. Is it an infraction to trade stuff from one of my account to the other? I ask only to avoid a ban. If it is an infraction i won't risk a ban.
Thanks |

They aren't allowed but they are at the same te. Let me explain a situation; a friend of mine's brother works at a retailer for guild wars merchandise, sort of like game stop. Considering it's his brother he gets sweet discounts(no don't ask me for favors). So my friend had about 9 accounts. He( before it was discontinued) made it where each account would get zkeys from xunlai predictions. Each prediction was the same. End of each month he'd trade his accounts to his main his zkey hoarded and use them for his title. Anet found out, thought he was using money transactions and banned all but 2, which he didn't trade from yet. He called in raised he'll and literally quoted them on the EULA. Fredom of account usage under certain limitations. They unbanned his accounts then. In otherwords if u can back it up your fine

Yeah a situation like Lithril stated would have been my only concern but as long as you prove both accounts are yours there shouldn't be much if any problem if your accounts ever come into question.

This isn't bannable, but looks dodgy, so ensure you've got proof of ownership, as previously mentioned. I've also heard that if you put some crap in the trade window along with the zkeys/whatever their unfair trading pickup software thing will leave you alone. It's not confirmed, but it's worth a try. PS: A bunch of screenshots and cd-keys should be sufficient evidence.

I've traded lots of things between accounts many times, most of the time I would trade Nick Gifts from my scrub account each week to my good account with nothing in exchange, both accounts are still running fine.
There are several things backing you up if Anet gives you shit about it: *You can take screen shots of the trade from both accounts. *Both Accounts are running on same IP address. *You legally own both accounts, you can provide the legit account keys and other valuable information about them. |

I've traded stuff back and forth between my accounts since I bought the second one a year or so ago. Money, Nick gifts, zkeys, minis, collector items, dyes, runes, all sorts. (My second one is an unlinked account, so it's got all my good stuff and all my spare plat as a backup for if I ever get hacked.) During the last festival I gave myself 500k back from my second account to pay for my 9 rings tickets; if that doesn't look like an RMT, I don't know what does. No bans yet. So, as long as you're running both accounts from the same IP and have proof you own them both, you should be fine.

My GL has always had 3 accounts,or 4 I don't remember but he has never been banned because of this.
I recently got use of my friend's account that he doesn't use. I do it too now,I doubt youl get banned but what I do is talk with both accounts in guildchat Like: 1st account: What 2nd account: is 1st account: today's 2nd account: zbounty? And stuff like that, but I doubt theyl ban you anyways |

Medium answer: What would be the difference between you trading between two accounts you own and any random two people trading? And, how would ANet know that you own both accounts anyway? Longer answer: No. If you are trading large amounts of gold, you may need to be able to prove you are not engaged in Real Money gold trading. But there is nothing in the EULA that forbids players trading anything they want, in any quantity they want, whenever they want, between whatever accounts they want. (As long as it doesn't involve real money.) |

I own 2 accounts (registered into the same ncsoft master account) and trade between them freely for a year now. No problem so far.
It also happens now and then that one guild friend has a lockpick dealer who sells for 1200g per lockpick, so he collects money from whoever in the guild wants to buy lockpicks until his xunlai chest is full. He then gets the lockpicks from the dealer and trades them back to the actual buyer. There were trades with 600p without anything in return in the same trading session. The resulting 500 lockpicks were traded a few minutes later. No problems so far. I have to say that the people involved are absolutely honest and trustworthy, and I am 100% sure that nobody has any connection with anything shady. They were probably never reported even for one single time in years. So they might have some credit or good rating on their account that prevents banning for a huge transaction that an account with marks on it will be banned for. A player may not be aware that his account is "marked". But all this is speculation. |

having 2 accounts and trading between them is perfectly fine. like 2nd psoter or something said it's just that it can be mistaken as using real world money for mass purchasing. but i ahve 4 accounts and only recently noticed the free tournament reward point from the closed xunlai house. traded it in for zkeys and traded to one account. i haven't been bothered by anyone.
logically if in game trading is allowed then it will be ok since as having 2 accounts you are the same as 2 people trading stuff. |

I have 3 accounts that I go between for storage purposes. You have nothing to worry about as long as the two accounts are yours.

nope i trade between roughly 9 accounts for nick gifts and zaishen keys and the like. nothing has happened to me. so i highly doubt theyd do anything(and ive traded like stacks of nick gifts at a time so really i doubt that anet would care unless its RMT).
