Update Crash Bug - Guild Wars Forums

Did today's update introduce a crash bug? Since it uploaded, I keep getting the unable to connect to server message.

I have 2 PCs. ! works.
The other I installed the latest Microsoft patches does not seem able to logon. Hope that helps

If you're getting an unable to connect error, that wouldn't be a crash bug.

What exact error are you getting? Is it the error you get when you try to load up Guild Wars or just log in to your account?

058 "Guild Wars was unable to connect to any login servers. This is very likely caused by an Internet routing issue."
I have no trouble connecting to anything else though.

Could be a corrupted .dat file.

Could be your firewall. I know someone else that started having issues with his firewall today after the update.

Assume, that I know nothing about computers. How would I fix that?

woot. connection is back up. I can logon in again.
