Victory Tokens and Ecto - Guild Wars Forums

So today I've been farming UW all day. 1st run this morning I got 3 ectos...pretty good start. After that it took a very steep dive from good to bad.
At least 10 runs today, excluding the first, and not one ecto has dropped off of Smites Crawlers but instead I get Victory Tokens.
So I'm thinking because of the Dragon Festival Ecto drops have been replaced with Victory Tokens for Smite Crawlers only.
Why only Smite Crawlers? Because other people who farm aatxes and Dhuum soldiers get ectos.
I doubt it's because of horrible luck because I see other people talking in chat saying things like "Did ectos stop dropping?".

TL;DR Do Victory Tokens affect certain drops during the Dragon Festival?

ya event drops never have and never will effect any other drops, also your not the first one to ask about this so look around first.

All event special drops are in addition to regular drops. This is easily seen when you get an otherwise impossible multiple drop - items AND a token.

Accept it - it's just bad luck.
