Eye of the North Relaunch expansion? - Guild Wars Forums

Currently I don't own GWEN expansion, but there is couple fun skills for PvP so I'm considering to buy it even though GW 2 is around the corner.

But what is Relaunch version? I could get it for 10 euros (delivery included) from a finnish store, but is there something missing from it?

The "relaunch" versions are mostly "budget" packagings of the originals. The game content is the exact same, but the price is lower than the original, the covers are different, and there is no printed manual included. Similar to how ubisoft games are eventually released as "Exclusive" versions. So yeah, buy that.

When you purchase any Guild Wars game or expansion, you are buying the access key. All the game information is kept on ArenaNet's servers, except for the unchanging backgrounds, etc. that are downloaded to your computer and kept in your gw.dat file. As long as you get the access key, you are fine.
