Very strange account hacking. - Guild Wars Forums

Hi, My main has just been hacked im sure. Was playing yesterday as usual. Got back from work today and logged in. Was first told i had input wrong password/account name etc. So i tried again, changed for sure as i know exactly my password and account name.

THEN, i went into my nc soft master account and clicked on Game Accounts only to see one line of text saying "None"!

What the flaming f**ks? Ive linked my account ages ago and used the master account to change its password several times. Somebody has somehow unlinked my gw account and changed the password? I can get into my master account fine, but there are no gw accounts linked to it at all... Im totally dismayed.

Anyone else had this happen to them?

Contact support at [email protected] and put HACKED ACCOUNT in the subject line. Don't delay as the faster they shut down the account the more you might save.

Then put your ownership details in the body of the message and explain what happened.

Possible that you get your acc back but be patient this will take some time...i got mine back after ~3weeks and i used the german support...yeah im german.
I hat some luck becaus all my chars very still existing but all my staff was gone. If you have bad luck this will take a lot of time and the chars are deleted.

But i dont want to be too pessimistic so gl on gettin your acc back...hopefully fast and without any damage

NCSoft and Anet have both claimed on numerous occasions that there were technical issues making it impossible to unlink a GW account from a PlayNC account. That's pretty bizarre.

maybe they are doing some false links to his internet or something? or someone broke NCSofts site xD.

@ OP: contact support about it. there really isnt anything we can do besides say" we're sorry and gl"

Technical Issues = Don't Want to have to pay someone to make it possible.

they gonna ask you for those codes on your GW cards you gonna send em picture of those they gonna give you back your acc...simple
