Which euro district are you being logged into? (aka French or Spanish or German etc...)
You should always log back into the same district you were in when you logged off/switched characters. For example, I'm American, but I lag a lot, so I hang out in korean districts where there are less/no people. Whenever I map around on any character, I stay in korean districts of those towns unless I switch to another district (like international, or american), whereupon I stay in that district until I manually switch districts again, and so forth. The districts should have nothing to do with where the games thinks you're from, so you should double-check to make sure that you are always in the American districts. Also, do you have your game set to another language other than English? |

I'm assuming he switched his region to Europe back in the day when Hall of Heroes determined favor of the Gods and Europe seemed to have favor much more than any other region.
I am stuck on a Europe region too, I don't mind it since I just switch over to the American ones when I login, the one thing it does effect is that when I make a guild it says my guilds Location is Europe, which really just effects what server we get put on when I used to GvG. But if theres a way to switch back to American region that would be great, just to have it back the way it should be. |

Right, but the region that you are associated with should make no difference in terms of what district of a town you are in. Like I said, I'm American, and never switched regions in my entire history of playing (it has always been American),and I use the Korean district all the time and never have problems with choosing a district. As far as I know, you should not be automatically forced into a different district than the one you chose when you last went to a town.
OP, would you mind clarifying some details of your problem, especially addressing the above questions? |

I *think* I know what the OP is talking about.
My account has always been set to American, it never was set to European. But from time to time, when I log in, it will throw me into a European English district even when I didn't visit one before I logged out. It really did get annoying after the 10th time when I kept having to switch back to an American district. It would throw me into a European district whenever I went *anywhere*. Honestly, I have no answer to your question other than my game fixed itself after I rebooted. :/ Not sure what causes it. |

I'm pretty sure the game remembers where you were playing last. I know I often find myself unexpectedly in American districts even though I usually play EU ones. Try if it's character related (switch to american, log off, log in with the same character, see where it throws you).

I don't know. But I know that if you switch districts, from random times it judges your district and saves. Also, this happens when ever your computer may freeze, it resets a new district. Plus, like someone stated before, when you log out and are at a American district it saves. I've heard that sometime it does not though, like it doesn't save what district you were in last. I guess it's kind of a bug, they could surely fix. A lot of people have been having this problem too. Your not alone. But it's very minor.

Well since me and the OP are still having this problem I will try to be as clear as to what the problem is and how it began, hopefully someone can then lead to an answer on how to get it resolved.
Back before Favor of the Gods was earned through maxing titles, it was rewarded to a region who was winning Hall of Heroes through Tombs/HA. During that time you could only switch from your native district (America, or Europe for example) and International. So if you wanted to do UW or FoW, you had to wait until your local district (America, Europe, Japan etc.) won Tombs 3 (I believe it was 3) consecutive times. During this time, it seemed like Europe for the most part had Favor of the Gods much more frequently than other districts. During this time you could change your home district through the Account Options at the character login screen. What me and the OP did was change that to Europe so we could do things like FoW and UW. A while back they changed it so thats winning Halls of Heroes does not grant favor of the gods, and that it was achieved through maxing so many titles. Around (possibly before) this time they also made it so that ANYBODY could go to ANY district and not just there local district and International. They also removed the option to switch your default account location / local district through the account options menu at the character selection screen. Now it isn't hard to switch back to an American district when it sometimes plunks me into a European district when I log in, but that is what is happening. However one other effect being on an European Home Server so to say, is that if I create a guild it will say my Home Location is Europe, even though I am situated in North America. What this does have an effect on is GvG. Home server will use that for picking a server for your guild to play on if you are the home team. Since we are in America obviously our pings will not be quite as optimal playing on an European server as they are compared to playing on an American server. Anyway, big wall of text, if you managed to read through it all I think it pretty clearly stated what happened and hopefully someone out there knows how to resolve it. |

The only thing I can suggest is to contact GW support. It sounds like a bug on their end resulting from the changes in region settings.
