Is there a trustworthy veteran here that would help me get the Complete Collection?
Hello.
I'm a Canadian and I am looking to get into Guild Wars. I've researched the different versions and I feel that the CC is by far the best value, unfortunately I can't find any place that would ship to me with a reasonable shipping charge. Anyone here that would be willing to receiving the game for me and then email me the unlock code? Amazon.co.uk has it for 15 pounds, that's an amazing deal as far as I'm concerned. |

I would strongly advise against this. All you want is for the person to email you the serial key? Without the box, etc., should you have any account troubles in future, you may have a difficult time providing enough evidence to support of your ownership of the account.

People throw away game boxes all the time. I guess I can buy the GW trilogy and then purchase the expansion separately, but that is way pricier than the CC. |

Usually the serial key is enough, I believe. But make sure you find somebody really trustworthy. Because if the person who does this for you is the one who creates your account problems, and both of you know the serial key, right of ownership is going to come down to whoever has scans of the packaging with the key printed on it.
It makes me uneasy. You may be more willing to take the risk. But if you can't afford a little extra shipping, I'm not sure how you could afford the possibility of losing an entire account. |

I didn't even consider that.
I thought once I used up the unlock code I'd be good to go. But I suppose it being an MMO makes it susceptible to account disputes and fraud just like WoW. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh guess I'll just pay a bit more and get the North American edition. Thanks for the advice, Star_Jewel. |

You can try Ebay - request no shipping and CD key via email after you win the auction.

I'd be happy to help too. I am trustworthy, but of course that's exactly what a liar would say. And there's nobody on GWG to vouch for me as I haven't been around here long enough to build a good rep. But I already have the whole game (proph, fac,nf, and gw:en) and my son does too so I already have access to a second account if I needed it. I guess I'm just saying, I have no interest in additional codes/keys. Now if you were buying a character rename or extreme makeover kit then I'd have to swipe it. (just kidding!)
Maybe your best bet is to just eat the extra shipping charges. But if you are interested, PM me. I'll send you my name and work address. The unlock code is usually printed on a small piece of paper in the game box and I see no reason I couldn't simply toss those in an enevelope and send the physical copies to you via post. |

I don't mind purchasing a cdkey, but they can't be refunded and I've heard of people getting used keys before. And thanks for the offers, guys, but I will pass. My gf knows some people in the UK and maybe I will try sending it to them. |

Just an FYI, amazon.co.uk and play.com would only ship the CC to somewhere in the UK/europe since it's a 'european' version of the game. I purchased mine from mymemmory.co.uk and they shiped it to me for free to Israel. It cost me 17 pounds.

EDIT: With shipping, it comes up to ??18.40, which is very reasonable. I think I might just order it from this site. Thanks very much! EDIT2: And just to confirm, there should be no problems or conflict seeing that I am using the game in a North American country, right? Whatever, I'm going to pull the trigger, I think 30$ CAD for the entire collection is a very good price and not one I am likely to find any time before Christmas. |

It makes no difference where the key code originated. I personally have the North American Prophecies and EotN, and the European CEs for Factions and Nightfall. All that matters is the home address you give when creating the account.
