Halloween end early & All quests gone? - Guild Wars Forums

Good day all...
So after finally getting my guildees to do the solo-quests and the other skeleton capping group quests a few times. We settled down to completed the full UW and the last Halloween quest (Waiting Game?). Just after Midnight ET (9pm PT), we got kicked (lost connection to server and could not reconnect). Finally after logging back in around 12:30am ET (9:30pm PT), we were back in LA un-decoreated (missing the reward NPCs) and the Halloween quests were all gone from Log. This was very surprising because like all previous events, we thought had until Midnight (12:01am) PT (or 3:01am ET) to finish up. So we could not even turn in the full Everlasting Mobstoppers then

Did anyone else experience a situation last night?
[Sorry for delay but raged quit and finally in mood to discuss!]

Any way to get the quests back? Didn't they previously along left-over as I thought had several from 2009 still in my quest log before this year?

This is pretty sloppy on A.Net's part.
Should've been a global announcement in-game that tells you when events end.

I knew it was ending yesterday, but I was expecting late at night. (PST time)

so what productively can be done to help fix? perhaps posting a note on one of the Community Managers talk page (like Regina Buenaobra)? anything else.. maybe everyone who reads and had similar happen, just add your own comment to this thread so they can see was wide impact? I'm open to ideas but frustrated all work gone

Crimson > Agreed! It should be very clear and then implemented with game update & announcement on their website/wiki.
