2 generalized gw questions - Guild Wars Forums

I'm sorry if either of these are already in threads, but I have checked and as far as I know neither are.

My questions are just two things that have been bugging the crap out of me for a few weeks and I just need them clarified bye someone smarter than me:
1. in trade chat when someone refers to a 'stack' of items (ex: WTS ToTs 35k/stack (how much it was in LA 2day)) how many of that item do they mean? I know the stack limit of an item is 250 but idk if it's different when people say it
2. Tyria heroes (already level 20) don't share exp with you in PvE like henchmen do, do they?

For anyone who does answer these two questions thanks so much in advance

A stack is 250.

And exp is always split between everyone in the party, unless they're out of party range (I believe).

Yes, a hero is officially an NPC so falls under that part of the experience split. Out of range means their name is grayed out in the party list.

Experience is split? So if I kill an Aloe Seed solo I'll get 100 xp, but in a party of 8 only ~13? You learn something new every day

What do you mean by 'Tyria heroes'? Do you mean Rurik, Cynn, Mhenlo, Devona, etc? Afaik XP is not split between you and them (until they become henchmen, anyway). If you're referring to Olias, then yes, he does split XP with you.
