Missing or removed boss in Scoundrel's Rise? - Guild Wars Forums

I normally don't bother with the Traveler gifts as the few times I've tried it I've gotten nothing but junk scrolls, but I digress... This week it's Mergoyle skulls, and back in the day one of my newbie farm runs was the Mergoyle and Skale in Scoundrel's Rise. So I spent some time out there making a little cash on vendor trash. Given that, I figured I'd do it again for old time's sake.

So here's the thing: I could have sworn that back then, there was a necromancer boss of the Necrid Horseman variety that spawned inside of that swampy area next to the rez shrine. Maybe I'm thinking of a different boss in a different area, perhaps it was removed, or maybe I'm just crazy, but all I found in there were a bunch of level 17 Bog Skale.

Help me out here, does anyone who played back in 2005 remember a boss being there?

There's only a boss there during Reversing the Skales (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Reversing_the_Skales)

Thanks. I even remember the boss name now, that was definitely him. I looked at the wiki page but just checked for bosses, not the quest spawns. I had most of those active for a really long time, I didn't complete all the Prophecies quests until Factions was out, and after that I didn't have much reason to go back there.

Thanks again! Glad to know I'm not getting senile after all these years.

Old good Lord Timot.....:P remember the time back in 2005 doing his quest......I solo vanquish the area many times and this boss only appear with the quest Reversing the Skales! have fun
