Luxon Faction farming
Hey. Idk if this is under the right topic. I looked through most of the sections and this one seemed best suited for the question. Where do people group up these days to farm Luxon faction other than AB/JQ/FA.
I remember before the nerf to some of the monk skills (UNsure whether or not it nuked monk farming completely) MQSC was where it was at. Any updates on new farming locations? |

MQSC still works, u can find the build in pvx after the chaos
i dunno if there is still community doing that tho, i left that place long before the nerf. as a luxon, forget JQ, u will find 3 bots as ur teammates FA, kinda better but i would say kurzick still have the upper hand AB, i heard luxons are doing good there, but kinda slow compare to other methods |

Yes, i run a versatile monk based on RoJ, i know what to do, i can cap through interrupts and keep the shrine healed up long enough. If you want to play in JQ, please forget running a warrior, paragon or dervish - yes, they have some 'working' builds, but just go with the meta, Mo/Me having much wider field of versatility than Mo/P. If only i have semi-decent people on my team, there's no problem winning; it's also the case with one leecher. Never saw more of them, Luxon JQ bots were popular years ago. |

I have been vanqing Mount Qinkai to earn my luxon points, with the scout quest active at the same time yields about ~11500 points or so per run takes about 20 mins (rit/discord group), that is not a speed clear and no using CONS so it can be faster than that.
If you are in a luxon alliance the 550,000 points for rank 4 statue is reduced to 225,000 if you choose to donate the points instead of get jade or skills. This makes it around 20 runs to stick a statue in your HoM for example. |

MQSC is actually a lot of fun. Come to think of it, so are competitive missions.
I shake it up. Don't burn out on one thing, they're all good means to the same end. |

It's more likely than you think... Ppl are sick of monking but at the same time are no good at getting behind the lines to kill the shortcut shrines or even bother picking up ambers. I blame the game itself for not making these things more clear. I don't even know how it works to be honest, I'm just repeating what some rager yelled at me about b/c there's nothing else in the game that actually explains this crap.
EDIT: We only need rank 4? ....that's great news b/c when I checked the skill progression numbers, most of the "effort versus output" seems to peak at rank 4 on all the PvE skills. Last edited by ilr; Oct 21, 2010 at 11:19 PM // 23:19.. |

The speed clear groups were still there in the German district last time I was there (after the nerfs). Check it out but be prepared to change characters if needed.
I just finished maxing my Luxon title by vanquishing. I made about 15k faction and 5k gold a run, and added points to Wisdom and Treasure Hunter titles also. Last edited by Darcy; Oct 21, 2010 at 11:50 PM // 23:50.. |

Ty all so much. Really appreciate the insight. I quit a while back when Aion launched. Been playing it since. I hate it, but there's nothing better. I am finding great enjoyment in coming back to GW to get my HOM to 50/50. (Which I just completed). And all that leaves is my last title for God Walking which will either be Luxon or drunkard. Sitting at 2.6k minutes on drunk. and like 5.7m or something in luxon.

Mount Qinkai, yes psycore. I recently vanq'd that in HM from Luxon 10 to 11 and it was just a lot of fun also! But there is no Balthazar.
Fort Aspenwood is pretty good too. Spent a lot of time there. |
