Changing Guild Tags/Abbr. - Guild Wars Forums

Does anyone know if this is possible? I know you can't change the Guild name, but what about the tag?

1) People still use juno...
2) you probably don't wanna just post your email places thats just asking for spam

They can't be changed. You would need to create a new guild.

How ever i would add that they are considering this as a future option.
Had a rather nice 20-25 min conversation with Gail about some account issues.
She's very cool BTW, and mentioned it was kinda a problem.
It's been discussed and she said she would bring it up again.
But i wouldn't keep my fingers crossed that this would change untill GW2.
If at all. It is too bad. I'm sitting on a Hall right now that i need to get rid of
so i can find a guild to join. It was great having my own hall....but it's very limiting
in terms of what you can do alone in both PvE & PvP.
If there were a way to change the name i could dump this in a min. and join a good guild.

'The Black Hand' is a decent name. The [NOD] is a bit strange, though. An in-joke of some sort?

Me, I wouldn't mind getting rid of my own single-person Guild (The Mystical Order of Negativity - a backronym since the [MOoN] tag came first

and hall since I don't PUG AB or dump faction for the title (using it to get amber/jaedite), but for even 60% or so of the cost it took to make the hall (since it has a couple of additions), it's not moving. :P

You will never get back your investment when selling a guild hall. Just suck it up and grab a quick sale for a huge discount price. You can then move on with your GW life.

It's nice to know that ArenaNet is thinking about allowing the guild name change. But it would be nice if they made it available now. A paid service (like the character name change) would be great.

Probaly refering to the Command & Conquer series as there is the brotherhood of NOD which has soldiers called "Black Hand". It's also a name of a sub-section of NOD I believe.
