So I have a few questions about the Hall of Monuments

1. So when I put a piece of armor up for a specific character(Warrior) It will show for that character. When I go on another character and use the account-wide achievement show thing It will also show those armors on a different character(Monk). Which character will be shown when GW2 finally comes out?

2. As you can see, my name kind of sucks as I made this character 3-4 years ago. Will that have to be shown in the Hall of Monuments? Or will I have to name change

3. how do I get more tapestry's to show all my achievements for a specific character?

1. Nobody knows. I doubt we'll know until GW2 comes out.
2. As far as if the name will show, again we have no idea. If the names bothers you, it may be best to go ahead and invest in a name change now, just in case.
3. You need to play that character through EoTN in order to earn more tapestries.

You get 1 tapestry for starting the main eotn Against The Destroyers, the other three are earned by completing the three reputation quest lines of the main quest: Asura, Norn and Ebon Vanguard. Tapestries are also tradable, so you can buy them if you want.

My understanding is that you can reap the item or title benefits for any toon you create in GW2. Name or profession has nothing to do with it.

Just a guess on the name: When you link a GW2 account with a GW1 account, then the GW1 names are reserved for you. That doesn't mean you have to use them to name your new GW2 toons, but can if desired.

For your first question my guess is it'll show as account wide. So, if the GW1 account wide shows achievements and armors of all characters, it'll be the same in GW2.

To answer your second question, yes, your name will be shown if linked. So if you do not like it than change it. I'm not sure if you have to change it before you link it to GW2, but my suggestion is to do it because it's better to be safe than sorry.

As for the last question, Dzjudz answered it already. It shouldn't be difficult to do.

1) All the bonus items you will get will be available account wide. GW2 could care less which character got the item, only that it's somewhere on your account.

2) The only thing involving your char names in GW2 is the fact that it will "lock" names for a period of time, so you'll be able to create a character with the same name in GW2 without somebody 'stealing' it. If you don't like the name, create a char with a different one.

3) Get tapestries by completing primary quests in EotN (Knowledgable Asura/Missing Vanguard, etc)

Just to note, you can buy tapesteries from other users, but you get them for free when you complete the main primary quests. Whatever your fancy is.
