curious:duping - Guild Wars Forums

lately ive noticed several UNDED kanaxai, pandas, and island guardians etc lately being sold. several players have more than 1 of the same mini. as far as i know a few of the players whom have honestly obtaie3nd these arent palying yet or hardly any longer. most of these minis are dedicated, how are there 6 unded kanaxais in game...its a lil fishy. NOT to mention that the possibility of these players SIMULTANEOUSLY coming out of hibernation of playing guidl wars...i think its unlikey "bob" rang up "tom" and said lets play again.
possibility of duping going on? it only just started after wintersday.

Christmas-->More Free time for some-->Bob rings up Tom since they are both on christmas break off work something like that-->Realize that with the HoM rewards listed now the value of those mini's has finally gotten to the point they would sell for-->Five or Six people selling mini's most people can't afford anyway.

It's the only way to get rich quickly. All I can say is keep asking around and you may get lucky.

If you check wiki there was a rough estimate on the amount of a "Xxxxx" mini and kanaxais i think was in double figures.Also consider that if a player is rich enough to own say a panda they may also be rich enough to dedicate it and not worry about drop in value.What a way to boost epeen than to have a ded panda showing in your Hom ? Major bragging rites comes to mind.Ive seen a few times in kamadan ded polar bear for sale and that turned my head for a sec.

It could be a group of hackers who are all selling the same stolen minis. Just because more than one person advertises them, doesn't necessarily mean that there's more than one to sell.

Indeed, many times people selling these mini cba to sit in kama all day, so they offer some friends a stack of ecto (or whatever) if they find a buyer it. Thus, multiple people selling a miniature or two.

Good idea. Have people sell things they don't own for me. The higher they sell it, the bigger their commission is.

2000ectos = 20ectos commission.(10%)

and you, the acutal owner of the item, have a minimum bid amount.

And you know the slaves will want to it as high as possible because he doesn't know which other slaves trader is selling the same item in a different town or district.
