Use of dedicated mini's?
Hi,
once you have dedicated a miniature in your HoM, someone else can't dedicate it in theirs any more. so what's the use in buying dedicated mini's? just for show in towns? or? and is it true that you can't undedicate a mini? cause (not realizing what i had) now i have 2 greens dedicated (which is of no use for my HoM) and one of them is kuunavang, so i would very much like to have it undedicated so i can sell it and buy some low end minis from that money + some extras... thanks in advance |

Show in town, fun, cheaper, complete collection.
Reversing the dedication is not possible, whatever people tell you. |

People who have 50/50 for the hall dont care for unded that much so ded is cheaper then.

Some minis - say those over 50k will have players after their ded versions because its cheaper and will probably keep till they can afford unded. There are few types of mini collectors and some do collect just ded minis.

gotta get'em all....yeah I have the need to get most of the minis, if I cant get the unded then dedicated will do---though I realize there are about a dozen (not including gaile's spawned directly into her account frogs) that will never be in my price range.(panda, vizu, island guardian, kannaxi etc).
so basically keep the ones you think are cute, and sell the others .....or give them away.

The only use I can think of is fro Paragon shouts and chants. I remember hearing/reading somewhere that the displayed Minipets also give energy return for the Paragons. There is no difference between an undedicated or a dedicated one in this case... Maybe between a quiet and a noysy one though as 12 Kuunavangs following you and roaring in Urgoz/Deep can get extremely annoying.

I kept all of my dedicated minis on a storage character.
Then I threw away all but the 8 or 9 which I really liked. Make sure to keep the ones which are "neat" -- Scourge Mana, Abomination, Jungle Troll and some of the other minis make noises when you have them out, and that's fun. |

Dedicated minis have exactly as much use as undcedicated ones, with the sole exception of not being possible to dedicate any more.
Their function: double click to summon a mini. It's supposed to be fun (I know I like to send my Piggy or Gwen for a walk). |
