How easy is Cartography made easy?
I've downloaded the cartography made easy mod and was wondering if I can rely on it to get me to 100% without wondering where I need to go?

Well it is that easy, but you will still need to figure out some bits of the map. The mod won't tell you where to go for that last bit of map but it will make your GW life so much easier.

It makes getting the cartography title very easy. There are a few areas that you'll have to figure out how to approach them, but for the most part, uncovering the foggy areas is a pretty straight-forward process.

It really isn't hard at all. You may have those moments where you're scraping the edges and getting frustrated at it, but it works well. Heaven forbid not using the mod--it saves so much time.

Using Cartography Made Easy and this thread from guru on tips for getting the last bits of the map uncovered really alleviate the pain the cartography titles can cause

It's not mindless. Some spots are still very tricky. For instance if you have a rounded corner, the best way to uncover it isn't always straight in at 45 deg.
There are many areas that can only be uncovered by watching cinematics. Patience is your best trait here. Uncover the entire map surrounding an explorable area before leaving. If uncovering a mission area (applies especially to Tyria) try to ignore the mission objectives as much and as long as possible. Bring running skills if it's a timed mission. Also if the area is not too difficult to explore and are not trying to VQ at the same time, I recommend bringing faster moving heroes and henchies for economy. A MM for instance can slow things up a lot. |

The brilliant thing the mod does do for you is tell you when you've already gotten everything there is to get from a particular area. Knowing which zones actually have unexplored space to uncover is a big time saver. |

I highly recommend it...it's VERY useful. but, as others have said, the mod allows you to see all of the spots that are able to be uncovered, but it is up to you to find out HOW to uncover them.
