It's worth getting for the weapon skins and the missions are pretty fun for a while. The missions have some neat little things to them that make them unlike normal missions.

The Bonus Mission Packs do supply some detailed stories of the heroes past, if your interested in lore. Which I suspect you are asking about a obscure town.
